Company Stensil

For my stencil, I chose Abercrombie & Fitch as my company. This company aggravates me to no end, putting forth offensive and degrading policies and products. In their stores they refuse to stock any clothes over a size "large", sell jeans only up to size 10, and only hire attractive, young, and fit employees, or more accuratley, "models" to show off "how people should look." The company got a ton of flack for their CEOs offensive statements, some of which including, "Our stores don't stock plus sizes as we want to maintain a hip, and attractive customer base." Sales have dropped dramatically because of statements like this, and the company saw a profit loss of over 61 million dollars a year.

For my parody logo, I decided to go with Waffle House.

In 2012, the CEO of the company, was accused of demanding sexual acts from a female employee in order to keep her job. In 2013, two more women came forward, stating they had also faced sexual harassment. In August, he was brought to a court case that involved a sex tape. What is aggravating is that he STILL retains his position. This is a terrible act that he should have had more consequences for.

For my Doblin Discrimination Matrix, I chose to do Trading Card Games. I personally play a lot of different trading card games(TCGs for short) and have a lot of experience with various different series of them.

Gig Posters

For my gig posters, I chose to do Lapfox Trax, an independant music developer from Hamilton, Ontario. The tracks are composed by one man under various different aliases that reflect the different style of each. On the first poster, I made it showcasing a show for five of his aliases. First from left to right, Renard, plays mainly a sporadic genre known as breakcore. Jackal Queenston mainly produces Drum & Bass. Mayhem produces Techno and Electronic Music. FIAB creates more bubbly and high tempo electro music. And finally, The Quick Brown Fox creates a genre called speed core, a blurringly fast paced sound. The other two posters are for two of the aliases above, Renard, and Mayhem.

Skateboard Final Designs

For my skateboard designs, I decided to use some of my old drawings as inspiration. 

1.I used an old drawing from at least a year ago. The board's colors mainly reflect the character's actual apparel. 

2. The second board is part of the trio of boards below in this post. This one shares the background design of the first one but has a smaller icon that represents the laid back personality of the character above and the "cool" feeling blue gives off.

3. This is the second board of the trio. Orange and reds are very energetic in my opinion, so I matched the icon accordingly.

4. Another board inspired by an old drawing. The character was a tech savvy gamer, and I associate hexagons with technology for some reason. I also think of the color green, explaining the color scheme.

5. The final board in the trio. The inspiration character was a shark so I went for an aggressive icon because of the character's competitive nature. Plus...shark.
